Take PvE in ARC Raiders seriously and you'll stop judging guns by the biggest damage number on the card. ARCs don't peek corners like Raiders do. They lurch, shield parts of their bodies, expose weak spots for a second, then make you dump half a mag into metal that barely cares. It's slow, loud, and a bit awkward at first, but when those grenades land, ARC health bars notice. Jupiter is for players who like clean angles and patient shots. It lets you punish large targets from range, which feels much safer than standing under a boss and hoping for the best. Equalizer is stranger. It doesn't look scary on paper, yet it strips armor on huge ARCs and opens weak points for the squad. Anvil is the practical pick, especially if you're solo. It breaks parts well and can still scare off another Raider. Aphelion is the luxury hybrid: strong, steady, and useful when PvE turns into PvP without warning.
Strong Picks With a Few Annoying Trade-OffsFerro and Torrente belong just below the best weapons because they work, but they ask for more patience. Ferro can hit hard and feels good when you're landing shots into exposed parts, though it isn't always as comfortable when an ARC starts moving badly or the fight gets cramped. Torrente has enough pressure to chew through smaller machines and help with medium threats, but it can burn more resources than you'd like if your aim slips. These are not bad weapons. Far from it. They're the sort of guns you bring when you know the raid plan, know the enemy, and don't expect one weapon to solve every problem.
Usable Guns That Start To StruggleVenator, Arpeggio, Tempest, Renegade, Osprey, and Bettina can all get work done, mostly against lighter ARCs or when you're cleaning up parts after stronger teammates have opened the target. The issue is efficiency. A gun can feel fine against small machines, then suddenly feel miserable when armor gets thicker and weak points are harder to keep in sight. Tempest and Renegade, for example, may feel familiar if you've used them in player fights, but PvE asks different things from a weapon. You're not just trying to win a duel. You're trying to spend less ammo, break the right part, and get out before half the map hears you.
What To Leave At Home For ARC HuntingStitcher, Bobcat, Il Toro, Vulcano, Kettle, Rattler, Hairpin, and Burletta are where PvE value drops off hard. Some of them have a place in Raider fights, and a few can save you in a bad moment, but they're not what you want for serious ARC farming. Too much ammo disappears for too little damage, and big machines punish that quickly. If your goal is bosses or reliable part farming, build around one proven ARC weapon and one backup for people.
